The extreme Autonomous aid to dependent Lorca after the earthquakes (07/10/2011)

Lorca earthquakes in the past, not paralyzed May 11 providing support to dependents of the municipality.

By contrast, the forced change of address has not prevented beneficiaries continue to receive appropriate care, as stated this morning, at a press conference held in Paris, the director general of the Office of the Unit, Miguel Angel Miralles.

So, as Miralles said, the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, which oversees the Office has increased its efforts to face the people affected by earthquakes, not crippling aid or procedure because of address changes that caused the disaster.

In normal situations, the change house or caregiver is one of the reasons that paralyzes the delivery process.

However, in this exceptional case, the regional administration has continued to offer the same services for dependent persons affected.

Therefore, at all times, affected beneficiaries have continued to receive their benefits in those temporary homes.

The same is happening with the valuations, which, under the regulation must be made in the homes of everyone.

As of May 12, a day after the disaster, the Office of the Unit are adapted to the circumstances and, since July, once located the dependent beneficiaries, proceeded to carry out their work in their new temporary home.

Miralles 1584 also reported that currently are receiving benefits Lorca dependence, which are financial aid to 1,110 at home.

Also took the opportunity to urge that any consultation on changes in the situation of the beneficiary, or doubts that may arise, the social services directed to Lorca town hall because it is the most direct way.
