Francisco Jodar joint magazine will present "The day that shook Lorca" 7 next Monday at 20.30 in the Hall of Culture Cajamurcia (04/11/2011)

The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, presented on Monday, November 7 joint magazine "The day that shook Lorca."

The event will take place at the Cultural Hall Street Cajamurcia Pius XII at 20.30.

This is a publication that aims to raise funds for the Bureau for Development of the City of Lorca to address those causes most pressing consequence of the May 11 earthquake at the same time it will be a leading Lorca's situation after the earthquake more beyond the confines of the city, as may be acquired throughout the Region of Murcia and in large Spanish cities.

"The day that shook Lorca" has been created by photographer María José Ruiz and Andres Porlán writer who over hundreds of pages comprising the publication narrate what happened in Lorca from May 11 through images and texts.

Thus, the magazine beginning with the moments of horror in the same afternoon, the damage output of Lorca from their homes, camps and the work of law enforcement and emergency surgery in the city.

Also discussed in this publication the state's cultural heritage Lorca and the solidarity received from all over Spain.

Finally, the magazine aims to open a window of hope and collective work of Lorca Lorca to get up again and return to Sun City where it belongs.

The publication will cost 10 euros and can be purchased at the same presentation on Monday and, Tuesday, at newsstands, bookstores, gas stations, the Eroski Beacon Park and other local businesses to be too soon available in large commercial areas throughout the Region of Murcia.
