Donations to restore historic heritage deducted Lorca and the 40% corporate tax and 30% in income (03/01/2012)

Lorca City Council encourages companies to collaborate in the reconstruction of the city once the new government of Spain has approved this action retroactively in the Council of Ministers on Friday December 30

Councillor of Finance of the City of Lorca, Luis Amador, has reported that the new government of Spain approved last Friday at the second meeting of the Council of Ministers of this term the entry into force in 2012, but also retroactively to 2011, companies that make donations to restore the historical heritage of Lorca damaged by the earthquake of May 11 can deduct 40% of it in the corporate tax and individuals up to 30% in income tax.

Amador thanked the new government of Mariano Rajoy to approve the measure on Friday December 30th and published on Saturday 31 in the Official Gazette, in Royal Decree-Law 20/2011, so that the tax benefits of these contributions rise to the maximum allowed by the law of patronage.

In the same vein, the mayor pointed out that donations to the City Council has also united by enterprises can be deducted by 35% in corporate income tax by individuals and by 25% if expressly requested in the Consistory, providing necessary fiscal data.
