Alberto Zamora and Elizabeth Square won the first prizes of the 4th Storytelling Contest for Secondary Education "Award Angels Pascual" (24/01/2012)

Councillor of Education of the City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, has released the list of winners of the 4th Storytelling Contest for Secondary Education "Award Angels Pascual", in which participated 154 students narratives of compulsory secondary education.

The awards will be presented on Wednesday February 8, at 19.30 hours in the Cultural Fund Espin.

The award in the category of students 1 and 2 of the ESO has been conquered by Alberto Zamora Sanchez, the IES Prince of Asturias, with the story entitled "My summer adventure."

The second prize was awarded to the play "Mona Lisa" by Ana Alvarez Garcia, a student of the Colegio Madre de Dios.

The third prize winner was Matthew Marisol Delgado, the College of St. Francis of Assisi, with the show "The magic ring."

Also within this category have been finalists Rocío Plaza, St. Francis College, with the play "Little Santa Claus" Vanessa Perez Martinez, Sun City College with the narration "Hormimovimiento" and Rocio Lopez Galera, IES San John Bosco, with the story "The Birthday of my friend Joy."

In the students category 3 and 4 of the ESO, the first prize was awarded to Elizabeth Square Torroglosa, student of the College of St. Francis of Assisi, with his "Memories in the Thames."

The story "Rachel" Torroglosa Paula Marin, a student from IES San Juan Bosco has won the second prize, while third prize went to the story "I love you wherever you are," Maria Isabel Molina Campos, IES Pedanías High -La Paca.

The finalists in this category have been Marina García Peñas, the IES Sierra Almenara, with the work titled "Kisses quiet," Viviana Marina Lalangui Sarango, the IES Ibáñez Martín "Mysterious Walls" and Alberto Suárez Parra del Colegio San Francisco de Asis, to "Finally ...".

Up to 154 accounts of students from all secondary schools in the municipality, highlighting the presence of San Francisco schools and City of the Sun with 63 and 49 units respectively, have attended this fourth edition of the event that pays homage to LA Pascual, history professor Ibanez institutes Martin and Ros Giner, Director of the Municipal Library for over 30 years and adopted daughter Lorca.

The jury for this competition, organized by the Municipal Network of Libraries of Lorca, was presided over by LA Pascual, and composed of Francisco Montiel, Councillor for Education and University of the City of Lorca; Encarna Martinez Tafalla, Professor of Literature at the IES San John Bosco, Joseph Thomas, Professor of Literature at the IES "Prince of Asturias" Fernando Square Mulero, Professor of Literature at the High-Pedanías IES La Paca and Susana Torres Mora and Luisa M ª García Peñas, librarians.
