The association of Lorca NYPACOLD formed in 2011 to 88 people at risk of social exclusion (15/02/2012)

The training program of the association are eligible under the Regional Operational Programme, funded by the European Social Fund

The training program of the Association of Children and Parents Against Drugs (NYPACOLD) formed in 2011 Lorca 88 people across five training activities aimed at facilitating the social integration of people at risk of social exclusion.

The Director General of Pensions, Assessment and Inclusion Programs IMAS, John Brown, and the Councillor for Social Policy of the City of Lorca, Carmen Ruiz, now Lorca gave diplomas to the 12 course participants 'Technical Communication', the Finally given programming last year.

NYPACOLD received a total of 26,000 euros of the Autonomous Region for the implementation of its training program in 2011, which is subsidized under the Regional Operational Programme 2007-2013, funded by the European Social Fund by 80 percent.

Brown explained that this social organization is developing since 2007 a specific program of support for the labor insertion of its users, called APINSUN, which have received aid totaling 150,412 euros, under the Operational Program.

The regional Inclusion Programs emphasized that the beneficiaries of these actions are mainly drug addicts and that the activities "adapt to the different phases through which users pass along their insertion process."

NYPACOLD

NYPACOLD is responsible for diagnosing the user needs and design a personalized itinerary of insertion, which consists of three phases: pre-service basic training, job search and tracking.

Basic training courses are focused on personal promotion and improvement of skills, developing social skills for employment, stress management and communication skills.

The Association for Children and Parents Against Drug Lorca was created by a group of parents with children who use drugs, to combat drug addiction and AIDS, promoting measures to facilitate the detoxification of toxic, health, psychosocial support and guidance labor for drug abusers.

The purpose of the training program is to facilitate the achievement APISUN a series of habits and behaviors in the personal, pre-service, labor and social, allowing users to avoid or leave the situation of social exclusion.

A process according to John Brown, the association develops parallel to the toxic cessation programs "and that addictions are often the main reason that users of this partnership presents difficulties to enter the working world."
