The Deputy Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, presented by the Director of Human Resources and Communication General Mutual Insurance, Araceli Ruiz Caballero, and the chairmen of the White and Blue Steps, Juan Andrés Ibáñez and José Antonio Ruiz, collaboration undertaken by the Foundation MGS to recover the cultural heritage of the two fraternities.
Montiel said that "since the founding of the General Mutual Insurance wanted to demonstrate their commitment to Lorca and contribute to the recovery of assets damaged as a result of the May 11 earthquake, something for which we are very grateful."
Assistance under this particular Foundation, regarding the White Pass in the comprehensive restoration of the stone facade of the Museum of Printing of White Pass, MUBBLA, cover dating from the seventeenth century.
As for the Paso Blue, aid has been the complete restoration of the 3 bells of the Church of San Francisco, which included the cleaning of them, installing new yokes and clappers, creating dump motor systems and banding, engine for the rattle ... All this will be able to program the bell ringing from a central command.
The Deputy Mayor stressed that "aid the recovery of the patrimony of the Holy Week brotherhoods is to help the recovery of our city because our heritage is one of the major elements that promotes the local economy. Lorca need your Easter for what it represents for all economic sectors of the municipality and because our Bible-passion parades have to turn this city into a magnet, making Lorca center looks across the country and receive thousands of visitors.
