IU-green: "The Joint Commission does not resolve enough requests for help" (30/04/2012)

Councilman Jose Garcia Murcia IU-Green Group, following the official note released today (April 30 2012) on the agreements of the Joint Commission, shows its concern over the slow pace of resolutions, and claims that it is in fulfillment of the RD-Law 11/2012 which includes weekly meetings of the Commission, which contradicts all the ads and public statements made by political representatives from all levels of government, from the State Government Representative and the Commissioner recently appointed, to the Mayor of Lorca, through the President Valcarcel.

Remember that since the council approved the Decree has been just a month and during that time, saving Easter, should have been held three meetings.

However there have been only two.

In particular, the council finds it strange because it was not approved at this meeting any rental assistance when there are still over 200 families waiting for them.

It is unacceptable that so long, the Joint Commission has ordered aid primarily for rent, being, as they are desperately needed by poor families and uninsured displaced from their homes.

Councilman Garcia to Murcia is also criticized the fact that only Two grants for housing reconstruction, which clearly reveals the political leaders on the one hand speak of immediate reconstruction, however, by their actions the delay irresponsibly.

Since then, says the council, we see very little sensitivity to the political officials that make up the Commission and in particular by the new Commissioner for the affairs of the earthquake, which acknowledges the situation, but obviously does not act accordingly.

We must remember, says Garcia Murcia, which is burdened families, tired of asking for help to rent or to renew joint request on the table, and desperate to see the eyedropper used by management to approve the records.

Councilman opposition claims that remain unresolved around 5,500 applications, including a very high percentage for reconstruction, so it calls for their rapid resolution with more work and meetings of the Joint Commission, as the obstacle should not be Now the lack of credit.

Finally, the council hopes that as the decree says the aid approved immediately charged to their legal beneficiaries and that advertised ICO loans are already available.
