Councilman Sports City of Lorca, Augustine Flames, has reported that during today and tomorrow are being developed at the Athletics track phase La Torrecilla local athletics Kids category.
Involving a total of 700 students from the following schools in Lorca: College San Francisco, Sun City College, College Mother of God, Ros IES Giner, IES Ibez Martn, IESO Sierra de Almenara, IES Ramon Arcas, IES Narciso Yepes and IES Prince of Asturias.
The tests, which have started around 10 am, are as follows: 1000 meter dash, long jump, high jump, shot put, 80 meters, 3 km.
up and 4x80 relay.
Llamas noted that the competition is organized by Department of Sports of Lorca in collaboration with schools in the locality.
In this phase local schoolchildren who will represent the regional phase Lorca, to be held on 18 and 19 May at Alhama.
Also included within the school sport program, on Saturday May 5 will take place playoffs regional quarterfinals in juvenile category in the categories of team sports.
