The owner of Agriculture and Water was speaking with the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, during the presentation of the proposed collector Biznaga Rambla, 6.4 miles long, part of the sanitation infrastructure of the area spread of the plain of Lorca.

This collector will collect flows from Purias collectors, Eagle Road and south of Lorca collector and lead to the treatment plant.

This action will serve a population equivalent of 140,000 and has an investment of 6.3 million, funded 80 percent by the Cohesion Fund of the European Union.

Cerda said that the works in progress, tendered or are tendering phase Turrilla River sewage collector system and in the districts and county of La Hoya, Rambla de Biznaga, Cañada de Gallego, The River Turrilla Hinojar and that account for more than 80 kilometers in length and have an investment of 28 million euros.

As for the works already carried out, Cerda said that collectors have finished Corner, Coy and Doña Inés, the El Campillo, Purias, Eagle Road, and for the districts of Altritar, The Captive and The Director, and the purification of La Hoya.

In total, the actions included in this Plan provide for a total of 184 kilometers of collectors, and amounted to 92 million euros to develop in this and coming years.

44 percent of the Plan is already implemented, bid or tender stage.
