Works of Gates Jiménez, Pastor and Perez Reverte Tudela Munuera pay tribute to Narciso Yepes on the fifteenth anniversary of his death (22/05/2012)

This is a concert to be held this Friday at the Cultural Hall Cajamurcia starting at 8 pm.

The event is organized by the University Association Musso Valiente, in collaboration with the University of Murcia and the Department of Culture.

The Councillor for Culture of the City of Lorca, Sandra Martinez, along with the President of the University Association "Musso Valiente," Ana Emilia Gallego, presented this morning in our city holding a concert framed by cultural promotion activity "Meetings with music. "

The mayor stressed that this is a new concert pieces made to be interpreted by composers Lorca.

The event, which will take place on Friday at the Cultural Hall Cajamurcia starting at 8 pm, includes the interpretation of parts of Lorca teachers Munuera Enrique Perez de Tudela (1836-1876), Pedro Jose Jimenez Doors ( 1860-1946), Pastor Andrew Demetrio Reverte (1878-1966) and great Narciso Yepes (1927-1997).

The program will start in memory of Narciso Yepes, just this year that marks 15 of his death.

For this reason it will present a brief review by the Director of the Municipal Band, Antonio Manzanera, entitled "Narciso Yepes and Lorca."

The menu provided for that music lover date includes auditions for musical works of the masters mentioned Lorca, along with brief comments from them.

These are:

Piano:

Demetrio Andres Reverte: Nocturne (dedicated to Enrique Fernandez Arbos) Spanish Songs.

Enrique Perez de Tudela Munuera: The Oh!

Waltz (dedicated to David Acebal).

Pedro Jose Jimenez Doors: Ata-Hulfe (Waltz for piano), and Teresa.

The piano is Maria del Carmen Castellon Carre.

Clarinet and Piano:

Pedro Jose Jimenez Doors: Voice of the Soul, transcribed by Antonio Manzanera.

By Peter Henry will play clarinet and piano Belmonte Maria del Carmen Castellon.

Cello and Piano:

Pedro Jose Jimenez Doors: Leaves fall, the cello is Pedro Fernández Millán and Maria del Carmen Castellon piano.

String Quartet:

Pedro Jose Jimenez Doors: At the Cross.

The violin will be Ana del Carmen Sanchez and Miriam Jodar, to the viola and cello Fernando Tomás Pedro Fernandez.

Lyric drama in 3 acts: Daniela, Pedro Jose Jimenez doors.

To round off the end, guitarist Jose Duran construed Remembrance of the Alhambra and Romance, in memory of Narciso Yepes.
