The new series of European youth exchanges includes activities in Lithuania, Hungary, Greece, Slovenia and Spain (25/05/2012)

Councilman Youth council of Lorca, Augustine Llamas, has been reported to be now open to participate in the European youth exchange program which is open to all young people who wish Lorca.

The mayor noted that the selection of participants will take place after the closing date of the registration period and communicated by telephone or mail to those selected to set the first preparatory meetings.

Exchanges of this year include the following options and their corresponding deadlines:

Panevezys, Lithuania (June 25 - July 3, 2012).

Have been established for 4 people + 1 monitor participants, aged between 17 and 22 years.

This project is called "The tree of faith", and it will involve young people in Lithuania, Slovakia, Poland, Italy and Spain.

The subject of exchange is the sharing of religious tradition and culture of different European countries.

Young people taking part in this program will present their countries in this spirit of traditional culture and religion.

Daugirdiskes, Lithuania (17-27 June 2012).

They offer places for 5 participants + 1 monitor, aged between 17 and 25 years.

It has been organized under the name "Let's make some noise."

Involve young people from Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Turkey, Spain and Portugal.

The subject of exchange will focus on music and youth, watching and learning self-awareness through music.

Szigetköz, Hungary (7 - August 15, 2012).

Participants take part 8 + 1 monitor, aged between 14 and 16 years.

This activity is developed under the title "Water and Light", and aims to integrate young people with fewer opportunities through projects that promote the values, active participation and sustainability.

Tinos Island, Greece (August 2 to 10, 2012).

Participating 4 young + 1 monitor, aged between 18-25.

Is established under the name "Youth can craft" and will be on youth of Greece, Slovenia, Spain, Portugal and Finland.

The exchange will focus on the craft that is manufactured on the island of Tinos.

Participants will work with ceramics, know the culture of the area, develop skills such as intercultural learning while interacting with the native population, making a final exposure to the material of the workshops held during the exchange.

Celje, Slovenia (23 - 30 August 2012).

Their number of participants is 6 + 1 monitor, aged between 19 and 23 years.

It was given the name "All the world is a stage" and will engage young people from Italy, Bulgaria, Spain, Portugal and Slovenia.

The main theme of the exchange is unemployment.

Using the methodology of theater participants will develop skills for the labor market access.

It will also address intercultural dialogue as a tool to increase the European dimension and active participation.

Coy, Lorca, Spain (02 - 10 July 2012), have established 5 places for young people aged between 18 and 25 years.

It is entitled "SUNstanaible" and integrate young people from Italy, Poland, Slovenia, Lithuania and Spain.

This project aims to promote care and concern for environmental sustainability and the importance of active living and healthy young people and to encourage the inclusion of participants with less opportunities, using the sun as all common axis.
