A medieval market and a falconry exhibition will promote Lorca during the month (29/05/2012)

The Director General of Tourism, Enrique Ujaldón, today announced the planned activities in Lorca for the month of June by the Councillor for Tourism of the city, Francisco Felix Montiel, and Hostelor president, Juan Carlos Ayala, Ujaldón stressed the importance of tourism promotion activities for the normal functioning of a city. One of the main events will be a medieval market to be held from 8 to 10 June at the Fortaleza del Sol, where you can perform different activities, guided tours, workshops for children, animation, music and falconry, in addition to attending the setting Sun from the Castle of Lorca.

The entrance to the site will cost 1 euro and can be enjoyed from 11:00 to 23:00 and from 20.30 hours on Friday.

Also at the Fortress of the Sun is able to attend the Night of San Juan from 21:00 pm with free admission on June 23, and a workshop where they learn cocinoterapia to make a medieval menu "Three Cultures', the June 24 from 11:00 to 15:00, for 18 euros.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism through the Tourism Marketing Office, gave full support to the activities planned in Lorca for the month of June and has designed a marketing plan that includes making packages with and without room for those who wish to use both the medieval market, as the exhibition of falconry, one or two days.
