The Governing Council has authorized the hiring and spending work on the project of general sewage collector of the Rambla de Biznaga of Lorca, in its upper reaches.
The works have a budget of 5.2 million euros, which will be funded 80 percent by the Cohesion Fund of the European Union, and run in the annual 2012 and 2013.
The upper reaches of the collector, five kilometers long, is part of the sanitation infrastructure of the town of Lorca's garden and collect the flow of three major collectors.
This is the Purias of the road and collector Eagles Southern Lorca.
With this infrastructure to transport the water pumping station, through the lower section, to propel them to the purification of Lorca.
This will enable the connection to the network of some 130,000 inhabitants of the area.
The performance is part of the General Plan of cleansing and purifying of the Region of Murcia.
The construction of this manifold is a step in the regional government actions aimed at improving water quality.
