Councilwoman Citizen of the City of Lorca, Ana Maria Lidón, has reported that nearly one hundred people participated Sunday in the voluntary activity organized by the immigrant "New Lorca" for cleaning the river bed Guadalentín between Old Bridge neighborhood of San Cristobal and Santa Quiteria, and the stretch of the boardwalk next to the river Tiata.
Lidón thanked the participation of these neighbors and the collaboration of the company Acciona, which donated T-shirts to all volunteers, and the bar "The Crystals" of the Virgen de las Huertas, who regaled them with supplies.
This activity was made possible thanks to the collaboration of the departments of Parks and Gardens and the Environment.
This activity complements the campaigns conducted periodically by Limusa, which seek to raise awareness of the need to cooperate in clearing the city, and in this case you also want to show the involvement of the components of this entity (Latino immigrants) with Lorca.
