A total of 10,154 cases have gone through the Commission and represent more aid worth 34 million euros
The Joint Commission, established by Royal Decree Law 6/2011 laying without urgent action to repair the damage caused by the earthquakes of May 2011 in Lorca, considered today a total of 259 cases of requests for housing assistance stricken and business premises that have been damaged as a result of earthquakes.
In such cases, the Joint Commission gave its approval to 81 requests for repair (involving 478,235 euros), 16 for rent (103,914 euros) for reconstruction and 6 (418,734 euros), which total aid totaling 1,000,884 million euros.
In addition, 26 grants have been approved for trade (133,675 euros).
The remainder, a total of 130, records are denied.
The Commission, which was incorporated on May 25 last year in Lorca, has the task of assessing and quantifying the aid granted to individuals under the lease applications, reconstruction, rehabilitation or repair of houses which constitute the habitual residence, and for the replacement of household necessities.
In the session of the Commission, held this evening in Murcia, attended by two co-chairs, the government delegate, Joaquin Bascuñana, and the Minister of Public Works and Planning, Antonio Seville, and the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar among other representatives and experts from the three administrations

Records examined by meetings resolute housing records of the Joint Commission a total of 10,154, accounting for aid totaling 34.8 million euros, broken down as follows:
Total housing assistance granted: 5,005
- Aid for home repair: 4005 (25,632,504 euros).
- Aid for reconstruction of houses: 32 (2,381,751 euros)
- Grants for rental housing: 968 (6,817,585 euros).
Total aid for trade: 124 (636,797 euros)
Total records denied: 5,149.
