The City Council launches summer campaign and encourages adoption of pets vaccinated against canine leishmaniasis to achieve its eradication (11/07/2012)

The mayor of Health, Antonia Lopez, has indicated that people who can not take care of their pets can deliver at the fairgrounds in Santa Quiteria every Wednesday morning during July and August

The councilman of Health of the City of Lorca, Antonia Lopez, reported that on Wednesday begins the season of summer collection of pets and adoption of dogs and cats.

The initiative comes on the heels of the City of Lorca, has been held at the fairgrounds in Santa Quiteria for several years due to increased dropout that occurs in the summer in our town.

The mayor explained that every Wednesday from Wednesday 18 July to 29 August between 11:00 am and 13:00 noon, will take the collection of animals from those owners who wish to dispose of them for failing to address them.
