More than 200 children affected by the earthquake Lorca visit Terra Natura Murcia free this summer (12/07/2012)

More than 200 children affected by the earthquake in Lorca visit the nature park and Terra Natura Murcia animals this summer.

The complex theme and Red Cross have signed a collaboration agreement for the children of the municipality of Murcia, participating in the 2012 Summer School Red Cross, to enjoy the water park and observe the different species that live in these facilities.

The visits will take place on 12 and 26 July and 30 August.

The group of children accessed free of charge to both parts of the complex and will be accompanied by instructors who monitor and supervise the activity.

The Summer School Red Cross wanted to host this year to more families, so it has extended the possibility of enrolling students from all schools of Lorca.

This collaboration aims to provide an alternative Lorca small healthy leisure in which to invest their free time through outreach activities that promote environmental conservation.

Furthermore, the initiative seeks to provide entertainment for children in various recreational and aquatic attractions.

During these sessions, children will learn about the two areas in which structures the park and recreate the fauna of the Iberian Peninsula and Africa.

They may see species as surprising as giraffes, hippos, wolves, lynx, hammer birds, bears, ring-tailed lemurs, among others.
