Lorca Mayor reopened the nursery of St. Joseph Calasanz after rehabilitation of damage caused by earthquakes (23/07/2012)

The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, accompanied by the sisters in charge of Social Work of St. Louise de Marillac and the councilors of Social Services and NGOs, Mari Carmen Ruiz and Antonia Lopez, has reopened this morning the nursery of St. Joseph Calasanz after rehabilitation of the damage of earthquakes of May 11, 2011.

Jodar has recalled that the rehabilitation of these facilities has been made possible by the insurance compensation and solidarity contributions of many individuals and organizations, including the Bureau for Development is the City of Lorca, with donations finalists Kutxa Foundation and Housewives Association of Consumers and Users of Lorca.

Jodar has recalled that these facilities had major earthquake damage, the insurance only covered 80% of the cost of repair and play an important role in supporting families who are lorquinas worse. "
