The PSOE has an urgent motion for the Council paid to city officials 25% of the extra Christmas (30/07/2012)

The Socialist councilor Casalduero Isabel, who made the proposal, announced that the initiative aims to try that the Mayor and his government team "attend reasons" and allow municipal employees to charge at least part of their pay

The Socialist councilor Elizabeth Casalduero today deplored "the refusal of the government team's Party to be paid to city officials 25% of their pay extra Christmas."

This was confirmed by the Board of Spokesmen held last Thursday.

Thus, the government team led by Mayor Francisco Jodar rejects the proposal made by Casalduero days ago.

The Socialist councilor calls for City officials, excluding charges may be appointed, 25% of the extra pay.

To do so, elect the constitutional principle that prevents retroactively apply a rule unfavorable or restrictive sanctioning fees.

As explained by the mayor of the PSOE, the rights to pay extra for Christmas begin to be generated on June 1.

As the Royal Decree by which the central government decided to suspend it did not come into force until July 14, city officials and rights that would have generated pays for a month and a half.

This equates to a quarter of six months for which such compensation is fully charged.

For Casalduero Isabel, "we have no doubt that the City must pay 25% of pay Christmas bonus to local officials."

Therefore, the socialist mayor presented an urgent motion in Parliament to be held next Monday.

Casalduero said it would be "absurd" that the government team refused, forcing the victims to file an administrative appeal against the City.

"Pretty municipal employees have to pay the consequences of a crisis that did not generate them as to bring them more stones on the road," said Council of the PSOE.

In that sense, Casalduero said that if the Popular Party councilors do not listen to reason, city officials will support the measures that they see fit to take to defend their rights.

However, the Socialist leader said he was hopeful that Francisco Jodar follow the steps of the mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, and allow them to charge at least 25% of their pay extra for Christmas.
