The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar this morning reported the progress made in the management of emergency arising from the floods last Friday, thanks to the work "around the clock" being developed by the local operating established for this purpose and coordinated by the City.

Jódar Francisco noted that the heavy rainfall last Friday have caused serious damage to the municipal roads and highways, so that the 1,300 kilometers of the network that have lorquino communications, the flood has caused conditions of great consideration in over 260 kilometers.

Of this number, 130 kilometers will require your full replacement, while the rest needs to be repaired to ensure traffic safety.

The Mayor has stated that there have been losses in infrastructure, water supply, electricity, cleaning, sanitation, besides the loss of waste collection infrastructure.

Note that in the afternoon yesterday were restored water supplies and electricity to 100%.
