The Councillor of Social Services City of Lorca, Mari Carmen Ruiz, has reported that this municipal area will launch a new training program within the Consistory lorquino actions being developed within Municipal Plan for Prevention of Addictions funded by Murcia Health Service.

The training offered, which are called 'inertia', are divided into two levels: the first social skills (motivation, basic resources of healthy living, personal development, introduction to computer literacy and educational reinforcement) and the second , a more advanced level, which will prioritize the skills of job search for employment integration.

Ruiz explained that in total 24 Lorca will benefit directly from this program, because in each of the courses involve 12 students.

The mayor explained that the courses will be held from October 15 to December 15, running for City Council consideration tuition and receiving a grant assistance of 200 euros for each student, but to avoid absenteeism which will deduct the portion for each day of absence.

The cost of the program undertaken by the Session include material costs.

Each course lasts 120 hours from Monday to Friday from 10 to 13:00 and recipients were selected by the Technical Program Social Inclusion Social Services Centre in collaboration with the Mental Health Center of Lorca .

The courses are aimed at people affected by drug abuse situation and / or mental illness rehabilitation phase, chronic situation of unemployment, low educational and cultural level, lack of basic social skills, very low income, absence or limited family support and people itineraries that develop social inclusion or mental health programs.

Remember that in addition to this new program, within the Municipal Plan for the Prevention of Drug Addiction develops the City Council provides information, guidance, support and prevention of drug addiction and signs agreements with associations track, NYPACOLD and Murcia Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation , with which develops programs of prevention, rehabilitation and employment of addicts, with activities such as workshops.

These actions are the result of the agreement with the Murcia Health Service in the amount of 235,000 €.
