Lorca" that will go on sale to raise funds to improve the equipment of the Libraries and Archives Council.
The mayor explained that "this initiative is to collect in a post thoughts, emotions, memories and experiences of Lorca around afternoon May 11, 2011 and its consequences, which will remain for their testimony to the memory of the younger generation and the knowledge of citizens around the country. In this sense, people who want to contribute their experiences may do so until the end of December at the ballot box placed in the Municipal Library "Pilar Barnes", the Municipal Archives, the Archaeological Museum and Cultural Hall CajaMurcia (at Calle Pío XII ) and through the website of the City www.lorca.es.
Contributions may not have an area greater than 20 lines.
With a selection of these texts will be the book "I remember ... Lorca", introduced by a few words of journalist Lázaro Giménez and the Foundation will pay CAJAMURCIA cover edition of 5,000 copies.
This book will be published by Editions Tres Fronteras and will be marketed at a price of 4 euros, working in the publishing and distribution networks of public libraries and archives in the region, as well as the association itself.
