The Minister of Public Works and Planning, Antonio Sevilla, and the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, have proceeded to the signing of an agreement that will repair the damage caused by earthquakes last year in the networks infrastructure and urbanization in the vicinity of a group of public promotion housing in the neighborhood of San Pedro in that locality.
The Institute for Housing and Land in the Region of Murcia (IVS) will finance infrastructure works with a budget of 178,860 euros, the consistory held within three months.
Given the situation of that promotion hillside area, the technicians of the Institute for Housing and Land plots analyzed in order to assess their degree of involvement in terms of fitness and structural viability of both urbanization and the building.
Thus, improvement works and consolidation of group homes and surroundings include implementation of security measures required for the maintenance and use of housing as well as raised pavement demolition and excavation and minimum of 1.50 meters to find and repair possible pathologies.
In addition, we will proceed to fill and compaction of land in streets and renewed and repaired infrastructure networks and services required, among other actions.
