The Councillor for Culture of the City of Lorca, Sandra Martinez, announced that tomorrow at 20 am will be presented the tenth issue of the magazine published by the Association Pool Friends of the Archaeological Museum of Lorca.
Martinez stressed that "it is an essential issue of this publication because it is composed of 13 studies on the recovery of cultural heritage of Lorca after the earthquake of May 11, 2011, plus 12 reviews on this same subject."
The presentation will be given by Deputy Director General of the Institute of Cultural Heritage of Spain, Alfonso Muñoz Cosme.
The mayor has said that among the studies found "rehabilitation research Spur Tower, Castle, walls, San Pedro, San Francisco, Santo Domingo, San Cristóbal, San Mateo, San Patricio and the Palais de Guevara, among other monuments. Among the catalog of authors find scholars and architects who have worked for the last year and a half in the rehabilitation of local landmarks, such as Francisco Jury, Eiroa Jorge, Juan Gallardo, Jose Angel Gonzalez Ballesteros, Jose Manuel Crespo Valero, Francisco Ramos, Juan God of the Sickle or Andrés Martínez Rodríguez, director of the Archaeological Museum, among other illustrious signatures ".
Martinez wanted to congratulate the Friends of the Archaeological Museum for "Pool make this volume of escaping from their common journey filled with news and trace the process that is leading us to the full recovery of our precious cultural heritage."
