The Joint Commission, established by Royal Decree-Law 6/2011 on measures to repair the damage caused by seismic Lorca May 2011, today gave the nod to 324 requests for housing (repair, reconstruction and rent) aid involving over 6.1 million, and 7 assists for trade amounting to 24,296 euros, which amounts to 6,166,122 euros.
In the meeting held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Works and Planning have studied a total of 610 records of requests for help stricken homes and shops damaged in the earthquake.
The Commission, which was established on May 25 last year in Lorca, is tasked with assessing and quantifying the aid granted to individuals under the lease applications, reconstruction, rehabilitation or repair of houses that constitute the usual residence, and for the replacement of household necessities.

From 5813 to housing aid, 4531 were for repairs (29,294,910 euros), 248 for reconstruction (9,344,832 euros) and 1,034 for rent (7,288,590 euros).
Moreover, the total aid granted to trade totaling 215, with a value of 1,055,282 euros.
