The Education, Training and Employment has realized the Governing Council of the implementation of new rehabilitation works to be carried out in several schools in Lorca.
These works will be added to all those who have already been executed by the Community with the aim of recovering the educational infrastructure of the town of Lorca after the earthquakes, which will involve an investment of 20 million euros.
Specifically, the Department has awarded the reconstruction of Lorca Institute Giner Ros the company Acciona, which will start in a few days the new center, amounting to more than three million.
Furthermore, since the works were awarded repair Integrated Training Center, for an amount of 103,860 euros, and the Secondary School Prince of Asturias, with an investment of 189,411 euros.
It has also published the tender to undertake the works of IES San Juan Bosco, whose budget amounts to more than 522,000 euros, and CEIP San Jose, located on the site of the Director, which will involve an investment of 340,000 euros .
On the other hand, is expected to be awarded next week also repair works for the Sierra de Almenara IES (Purias) and IES Pedanías High (La Paca) and works CEIP José Robles.
The investment to run all reaches 350,000 euros.
The Governing Council is expected to approve the bid of IES Ramón Arcas in its meeting on Friday.
This project has a budget of tender four million euros and will involve the construction of a new building connected to the main building by two bridges.
It is 3,000 square meters of land have been released after the demolition of the damaged part of downtown.
