This is an initiative that is sponsored by companies involved in the restoration and conservation of cultural heritage of the city of Lorca, as in the case of Assignia Infrastructure, Building and Development Cydemir Tudmir and Arqueoweb.
The Councillor for Culture of the City of Lorca, Sandra Martinez, has informed this morning of the jobs that are being developed for the creation of a new application for mobile phones and a website showing the progress of the work of recovering damages by earthquakes in 2011 being carried to term in the broad heritage legacy treasured our city.
The mayor explained that currently is developing a mobile application and a web portal that is scheduled to be available for next May.
We are talking about a very useful tool whose project has been promoted by the City of Lorca through its Department of Culture, with the sponsorship of four companies involved in the restoration and conservation of cultural heritage of the city of Lorca, as is the If Assignia Infrastructure, Building and Development Cydemir Tudmir and Arqueoweb.
Martinez Navarro stated that the project is the creation of a web portal accessible via both web and application through a mobile application with information on the effects on the cultural heritage of the city of Lorca by the earthquakes the May 11, 2011.
Besides its consequences, the user can view audiovisual materials on the various stages of restoration or reconstruction of affected assets and the current state of the property.
The purpose of this project is the availability of digital information accessible by all citizens on cultural property affected by the earthquake of May 11, 2011, as the information that is currently outdated.
It was also intended that the citizen knows the work of restoration and / or reconstruction being carried out in the city today or that were carried out following the earthquakes.
The mobile application is available for free for Android platforms and Apple devices through their respective app stores.
The mayor of Culture said that the end user of the application will receive a positive discourse ranging from the cultural vision before the earthquake, through content related to this condition because of the earthquakes of May 11, 2011 and ending in recovering well thanks to the public-private initiative involved in the recovery of assets Lorca.
In addition to the main proceedings are to develop other parallel actions for wider dissemination of the mobile application and the web portal as:
Installing informative post with a short description of the heritage and about QR codes for mobile access to the download link of the application to see all the details right.
50 Printing promotional posters and 2,000 information leaflets becoming available in the tourist offices of the City of Lorca.
Remember that for the recovery of assets, the Ministry of Culture prepared a Recovery Plan for Cultural Heritage of Lorca which includes the restoration of more than 75 heritage buildings in Lorca were severely damaged by earthquakes and the cost of recovery amounts to 50 million euros.
With compensation, grants and work of several companies, both private and public, the city of Lorca is recovering the lost after the earthquake.
