The regional deputies Lorca's Party, Ana and Fernando Lopez Aquilino Miras, have released the battery of motions that the parliamentary group submitted to the Regional Assembly to help the recovery of the town of Lorca and its vicinity after floods of last September.

Aquilino stressed that "this package aims to contribute to the rehabilitation of the damaged after this natural disaster and implement new measures to help Lorca to join start-ups by the National Government through the RD 307/2005 of 18 March amended by Royal Decree 477/2007 of April 13. "

The first of these motions was defended by Deputy Aquilino in plenary on Wednesday.

The deputy said that "through this motion we urge the Regional Government to develop an Improvement Plan Conditioning and roads damaged by floods. Though in Lorca is already acting through the Ministry of Environment in arrangement of various roads affected, such as resurfacing the firm at the confluence of the Rambla de Nogalte and the Camino de Vera worth 580,000 euros, we believe that should go a step further in this direction. "

Aquilino said that "through this motion have asked to devise a plan to improve, rebuild and put all the roads that were damaged during the September 28. Given the importance of the rural areas of Lorca and connecting them, it is necessary to design an ambitious plan to enable the recovery and improve these roads globally, and that's what we ordered through this motion was approved unanimously by all political groups of the Regional Assembly, which is the best of the backups to the objectives of the Shire of Guadalentín ".

During the next few weeks will be debated all other motions.

In this sense, Miras Lopez stressed that "in total are five motions presented to date, covering various dimensions in the recovery of the municipality. Thus one defend as to urge the National Government to solicit funds and aid to European institutions to mitigate the damage caused by severe flooding. Must do more in the recovery from this disaster and it is therefore essential that it has the funds needed to address economic recovery. believe that Europe must put their bit and we therefore urge the powers who have requested these funds. "

"We also believe that we must help," said the popular deputy, "who have suffered the consequences of flooding, that is, primary industry professionals. Farmers have been severely hampered their activity because of the floods and therefore we request that obtain exemptions in water availability. Specifically request with effect for tax years 2012 to exempt from the quota of water utilization rate and fee regulation laid down in Article 114 of Law Water, the necessary contributions to the cost of the rate of water pipe and driving share the waters of the post-transfer. addition also ask that those who have already met some of these fees are the amounts paid back ".

Another measure is applied, according to Lopez Miras, "the implementation of different lines of subsidized loans to those affected by the floods through the Official Credit Institute. Must allow those affected to have very favorable financing lines that allow them to recover their facilities and equipment and is made through the ICO to include the maximum facilities. "

Another proposal is focused on "the inclusion of support for the death of children as a result of the flood, without the requirement of implementing the economic dependence."

Miras Lopez stressed that "from the Popular Party still working for broader aid designed to recover the municipality after the floods and we request these measures prove it. While from other parties engaged in sightseeing and criticize without offering nothing, we continue working to find solutions to all the problems and thus help those affected and the municipality itself can recoup their losses.
