The Segura basin (CHS) has put out to tender the procurement of technical assistance to support the police station in the boundary waters of the Rambla de Biznaga, vital to evacuate flood waters during the great plain that stretches between Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras.
The works have a base budget of 468,000 euros tender and will last until next year.
The boardwalk is deslindará Biznaga in a stretch of 20 kilometers from the deputation of Campillo to its mouth in the river Guadalentín.
The most important part of this project is the initial (as Biznaga worked very well in its final stretch, during the floods last year), near the motorway Lorca-Eagles, where failed to drain the accumulated water.
Consequently, a large area of ​​about 9,000 hectares between the towns of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras was flooded and remained flooded for several days.
