The arcaded courtyard of the Palacio de Guevara hosts this Sunday classical music concert of the Orchestra University of Murcia (02/05/2013)

This is a new opportunity to enjoy a concert in the unique context of Guevara, once restored.

The event will start at 7pm, with free entry to fill seats.

The Councillor for Culture and Celebration of the City of Lorca, Sandra Martinez, Vice Chancellor of the University of Murcia, Mercedes Farias, presented this morning celebration concert called "Viennese Classical Music: Mozart and Haydn", which will be offered by University Orchestra of Murcia on Sunday May 5 at the renovated Palacio de Guevara of our city.

This is an event that will start at 7 pm, and that the organization has the Vice President for University Extension and Electronic Administration and the City Council and in collaboration with the Conservatory of Music of Murcia and Area Music of the Faculty of Education at the University of Murcia.

Admission is free until all seats.

The program is planned to develop consists, in the first part of the Clarinet Concerto in A major K.

The University of Murcia Orchestra is a flexible musical group aims to provide to the university community the opportunity to meet and enjoy instrumental music in all its forms: orchestral music, chamber music and music for solo instruments.

This orchestra was founded in 1996 and was directed successively by Dolz and Jose Ignacio José Pellicer, and currently directs Jorge Losana.

In this project, the Orchestra of the University of Murcia intended to approximate a historicist interpretation of the music of the classical period in the hands of clarinetist Lorenzo Coppola, exploring the nuances of interpretation of the style.
