The City of Lorca morning starts the watchdog of its 10 miles of coastline (28/06/2013)

Emergency Councillor of the City of Lorca, Eduardo Sanchez, has reported that the Consistory Lorca in collaboration with the Autonomous Region tomorrow starts the watchdog of its 10 miles of coastline, for which staff has increased by 16.7 % over the previous year.

Sanchez explained that "until September 1, from 11:00 hours to 20:00 hours, three lifeguards monitor you every day from the pool bar area Calnegre beach and four each day from the beach Town of Blades Calnegre, one more than last year, which will allow better monitoring of the creeks by a 4x4 vehicle and maritime surveillance. "

These actions are coordinated with the Department of Public Safety and Emergency Department of the Presidency of the Regional Government, is going to participate in the Regional Plan for Surveillance and Rescue and Rescue Beaches in La Mar (PLAN COPLA).

To this end, the beach Calnegre tips (Village) has established a First Aid Post, Surveillance and Rescue, opposite the Base of the Service, consisting of a fixed lookout a watchtower and two inflatable boats.

Moreover, as has been done since 2010, and in collaboration with the Health Service of Murcia, has given this device a Basic Life Support Ambulance to act in an emergency, being located at the base of Municipal Emergency Service Calnegre tips.

The council has asked the swimmers and visitors citizen cooperation, respecting the state of the flags, and the particulars of the lifeguards, and pointed out that in the case of red flag sanctions can range from 751 euros to 1,500 € and the lifeguards not required to enter save in that case.
