The Councillor for Health and Consumer Affairs Council of Lorca, Antonia Lopez, has reported that the municipal area, as a partner authorized to provide food handler courses by the Ministry of Health and Social Policy in the Region of Murcia has planned to provide for all this year 12 courses food handling.
Lopez stressed that "the objective is to provide basic knowledge about food hygiene those food industry professionals that require it to comply with current legislation."
Specifically, during the first half of 2013 were conducted 8 courses for different sectors, with a total of 290 participants:
4 Institutional catering.
It is the defendant as is required for employees in bars, restaurants, canteens kindergartens, schools, hospitals etc.
2 Horticultural and Retail Products
1 Meat establishments
1 confectionery, pastry, cakes and pastries
In September resume courses, as follows:
Catering: 23, 24 and 25 September
Horticultural and Retail Products: 7 and October 8
Meat establishments: 18 and 19 November
Confectionery, cakes, pastries and confectionery: 16 and 17 December
All of them in the morning from 9.30 to 11.30 h in the Local Development Centre.
