A dozen unemployed Lorca learn the trade of rehabilitating furniture upholsterer Hall (27/08/2013)

In addition to this training, for the unemployed aged between 30 and 45 years, are currently conducting another 20 Lorca practices courses and furniture cleaning surfaces in buildings and premises, aimed at the same segment of the population, as well as operations auxiliary and general administrative services, involving unemployed people with disabilities.

All these courses have a total duration of 420 hours and are included in the program 'format', which aims to identify opportunities through personalized itineraries of insertion.

Increased budget for employment programs

"Participants in these courses receive 100 euros grant more than those who participated in the first edition of this program thanks to the redistribution of funds from the Urban Community Initiative, which focuses this year since most of their efforts on social and educational programs and employment, as the Autonomous Community will finance the refurbishment missing from the streets of Uptown Lorca, "said the councilman.

This project, SHAPE-T, which is part of the thematic area 1: Promoting social inclusion and equal opportunities under the heading: Training actions by inserting custom itineraries, is funded by the City of Lorca, by 20% and 80% by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) within the framework of the Urban Initiative, under Axis 5 on local and urban sustainable development of the operational program Region of Murcia, and is due to end of year bid new training courses.
