32 young people from four European countries parties presented the findings of an international seminar held in the hostel equal Coy (16/09/2013)

This meeting allowed the debate between young people from the project "Building Equality", part of the European Youth in Action program, promoted by the International Mobility Office Hall, which has allowed stimulate the activity of this hamlet Lorca.

Youth Councillor City of Lorca, Augustine Llamas, reported that the 32 young people who participated from 9 in the hostel "Casa Grande" Coy in international youth on the social involvement of women in the process decision-making by institutions this morning presented their findings to the political groups represented in the municipality.

Llamas, who has participated in this event with the Director General of Youth, Veronica Lopez, and the Council of Women, Eulalia Ibarra, explained that it is an activity that ends tomorrow and is part of the project "Building Equality" funded by the European Youth in Action program and promoted by the International Mobility Office city council.

This project aims to analyze the situation of women in the decision-making process both in institutions and in non-governmental organizations and develop strategies, plans and activities to make this process more egalitarian and inclusive as possible, facilitating social change more sustainable while be driven from equality, and participation has Cazalla Intercultural Association.

Youth Councilman noted that this project involves four European countries: Italy, Romania, Bulgaria and Spain and consists of three phases: research, seminar and monitoring.

The research phase was performed using a questionnaire filled in organizations and that a sociologist analyzed to draw conclusions about the current state of affairs.

At the meeting this morning seminar participants have presented their findings to politicians Lorca and the Federation of Women's Organizations of Lorca, in order to share experiences and design together future political plans.

During the follow-up phase will be workshops to promote equality in the decision-making process and the active participation of women in political processes and command posts.
