The Council of Women of the City of Lorca, Eulalia Ibarra has reported that the municipal area has organized for this Saturday in the hamlet lorquina Aguaderas a day of living to commemorate the Day of Rural Women, in which more than 200 Lorca.
Ibarra explained that "the goal of this activity is that women of the city and the districts of Lorca share experiences, customs, traditions and typical products for mutual cultural enrichment. This will draw the local neighborhood association in this morning and afternoon activities will begin at 10:30 in the Chapel of the Sacristan ".
The mayor explained that "although, to promote partnership and participation, since the council we have addressed all women's associations in the municipality, and exist in every neighborhood and village of Lorca, for your partner to participate, the meeting is open to all Lorca although not associated, provided they register over today in the Local Development Centre at a cost of 3 euros ".
Lali Ibarra explained that the celebration of the Day of Rural Women was organized with the collaboration of the Federation of Women's Organizations and next year we plan to celebrate in the upper districts of the municipality.
