The incident took place on the evening of Saturday 23th, when local police officers surprised two people inside a car which had forced the lock.
The City Council Public Safety of the City of Lorca, María Belén Pérez, has reported that the local police officers in our city have arrested two people suspected of auto theft and burglary.
This is an action framed in preventive / operational tasks carried out by the Local Police.
Were members of the Unit for Prevention and Response Operation Local (UPROL) in coordination with Proximity and Prevention Unit (UPP), who carried to term this operation.
M ª Belén Pérez explained that the arrests occurred about 00:30 am on Saturday, November 23 in Friars Street alley when officers noticed two men inside a vehicle the lock was forced , proceeding to identify them and their subsequent detention after finding that the vehicle was not owned.
These individuals tried to avoid arrest struggling with the agents and trying to flee the scene, being discounted and taken into custody for investigation of prosecution and brought to justice.
In caching security effected on the detainees were held a bag containing 10 beads silver, noticing the fact that the features garments of the two men matched the description provided by a vendor medieval market on two young men who had subtracted various effects of a post of that market.
The City Council Public Safety said that this important preventive detention constant / operational work carried Lorca Local Police through the different units in which and through monitoring devices that are set is organized is confirmed, and the coordination with other Forces and State Security.
