The City of Lorca launches possibility of the food handler course on line (24/01/2014)

Students who pass the course will receive a diploma certifying the completion of this 6-hour course by the Department of Health, which is authorized as a partner of the Ministry of Health of the Autonomous Community to teach these courses.

The matters disclosed to students are: law, nutrition, food contamination, preservation methods thereof foodborne illness as poisoning and bacterial infections, viral foodborne diseases caused by fungi or other parasites and preventive measures to be taken along with sanitary hygienic practices.

The course tutors, who are the municipal veterinarians, attend to any questions from students via email or phone.

Enrollment in this course will take place in the same way that had been done with classroom courses, ie, paying the € 17.1 rate in the register of the City or Municipal Service Offices of districts and then formalizing enrollment a photocopy of the DNI or NIE and the request pursuant to the Department of Health.
