The City of Lorca organized 22 activities to celebrate World Book Day on ten of its municipal libraries (21/04/2014)

Libraries 'Pilar Barnes', Children and Youth as well as the hamlets of Cazalla, Puri, La Paca, almond, Cazalla, La Hoya, Marchena-Aguaderas and Zarcilla scheduled a week of diverse events to bring reading .

Councillor of Education of the City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, reported that since the Municipal Library Network Lorca "have organized 22 activities in ten municipal libraries to celebrate World Book Day, which falls on April 23" .

Montiel explained that "in order to bring citizens libraries have been organized from tomorrow until Tuesday 29 a week of diverse events like storytelling, workshops bracelets and other crafts, book club, children's theater, meetings with author, 'coffee with text', school visits, ... ".

The mayor explained that "this is a compendium of activities that not only have been organized to take place in libraries located in the city center such as 'Pilar Barnes' Children and Youth and Cultural Center, but also aims to bring the culture of the book to the districts with events Cazalla, Puri, La Paca, almond, Cazalla, La Hoya, Marchena-Aguaderas and Zarcilla ".

Specifically, the program will open tomorrow at 16:30 pm in the library of La Paca storytelling with Alfonso Lopez 'juanolo', that from 18:00 to also act in Zarcilla.

At 17:30 pm there will be a workshop on Children wristbands library and 19:30 hours reading club held a gathering on the book "A Heart So White" by Javier Marías.

Collective reading of "Platero and I", which will also be a drawing contest
