58,632 Lorca entitled to vote in European Parliament elections next May 25 (28/04/2014)

43 schools and 83 tables are established |

The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar has chaired this morning in the city council special meeting of the council meeting in which it has come to make the draw for the components of the polls for the European Parliament elections this year , to be held next May 25.

The mayor reported that plans for such elections, the establishment of a total of 83 tables spread across 43 polling stations.

Note that this is a figure lower than that of voting and other processes that will result in an increase of voters per station tables.

According to the projections made to date, the same polling places than in previous elections, contemplating only the following changes shall be maintained:

Voters exercising their right in the IES Francisco Giner Ros will do so in the IES José Ibáñez Martín (as was done in similar situations).

Voters who had as reference the college IES Ramón Arcas Mecca exercise their right at the Senior Center Residencial Michelangelo.

Voters who voted in the Cultural Fund Espin, and had to do it in another location due to works that were recorded over time in it, will return to that Cultural Fund.

Citizens who usually voted in the local office of San Cristóbal what now will enable the new location for the neighbors on the street Turbinto.

It is recalled that the City of Lorca, in accordance with rules set by the respect, the electoral frown remained exposed to these European elections between the weekdays from 7 to 14 of this month of April.

The Mayor of the city has encouraged all citizens to come that day to vote, noting that "the work is developed from the European institutions greatly benefits all Lorca.
