Talks to teach seniors basic first aid with which to react in an emergency (07/05/2014)

This is an initiative that will reach 8 senior centers located both in the urban area (Residencial Michelangelo and Local level crossing) and districts (La Parroquia, Zarcilla, La Hoya and Tiata).

The Mayor Aldermen and Emergency Policy Council of Lorca, María del Carmen Ruiz and Eduardo Sanchez, reported that the city council has launched a series of lectures on first aid and CPR Basic (RCP) specially designed for dissemination among residents of different senior centers and clubs pensioners of the village.

Jódar Ruiz explained that the aim of this initiative is to introduce participants to the techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation are practiced routinely in cases of emergency.

They also provide basic training to an emergency are trained to react quickly and effectively, know how to deal and act properly, and know psychologically handle it after showing the action guide to follow in a situation looking urgent.

We are talking about moving our elders how to react to such circumstances, teaching the most basic first aid maneuvers.
