The City of Lorca Bears exhibition 'Traces of Jewish Culture' at Beacon Park Mall until late June (08/05/2014)

This continues roaming the exhibition on the archaeological work in the Archaeological Park of the Castle and the finding of the Synagogue of Lorca, in order to encourage visitors to visit Lorca and the reservoir.

The Councillor for Tourism of the City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, and the director of Beacon Park Mall, Pasqual Antonio Riquelme, inaugurated this morning at this mall the exhibition "Traces of Jewish Culture in Lorca," which since the beginning of 2013 has been touring some Spanish cities.

Montiel said "until the end of June this exhibition will be in the showroom Beacon Park Mall, where you can be viewed by the thousands of Lorca and people of the region and other border cities who daily come to this shopping center to shop. The exhibition will run at the usual time of the Mall from 10:00 h to 22:00 h until 29 June. "

In addition, the Cultural Tourist Consortium 'Lorca Taller del Tiempo' available to establishments mall discount tickets to access the various spaces and guided tour to have them delivered to their customers visits.

The mayor thanked the cooperation of the Mall and recalled that "the archaeological remains of the Synagogue and Jewish Quarter that are part of the Castle Archaeological Park, and have been impacting positively on the growing number of visitors to the Castle and Thus the city of Lorca since its opening in July 2012, thanks to the many promotional activities and dissemination that have been done on this spot since its discovery, through conferences, editing promotional materials, participation in tourism fairs, book publishing on the findings ...

One of the actions is reaching a wider audience is the exhibition "Traces of Jewish Culture in Lorca" which since early 2013 has been installed in Spanish cities with a significant Jewish heritage as Toledo, Cordoba, Avila and the city of Lorca, being visited as a whole by more than 83,000 people.

To Beacon Park, this action is part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in order to give the widest possible publicity to this cultural project.

The Beacon Park Mall, managed by Gentalia, opened in 2008. With a GLA of 67,050 m2 over 2 floors and 2,400 free parking spaces is the reference center in the Valley Guadalentin with the most important brands in fashion (H & M, C & A, Zara, Mango, Pull & Bear, Black, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Jack & Jones, Springfiel, Cortefiel, etc..), sports (Sportzone, Blanes, Decimas) and household equipment (Mediamakt, House).

It has a supermarket (open from 9:00 h to 22:00 h) and an entertainment area and open 365 days a year restoration.
