detail of Lorca

Lorca closed June with a further decrease in unemployment which results in better employment data for the last 30 months (02/07/2014)

During that month, and despite being traditionally negative June 1st period in creation of new jobs, a total of 36 Lorca managed to find a job.

The outcome was positive in the sectors of agriculture, industry, construction and services.

The annual figure is also positive as it descends to 565 the number of unemployed Lorca.

The first half of the year offers a fall in unemployment of 235 people.

Employment Councilwoman City of Lorca, Lali Ibarra, thanked the joint efforts of the whole society Lorca for their ongoing work to stimulate the labor market, which last June obtained very positive results, which were implemented in decrease of 36 unemployed people in our town.

This is a particularly significant figure, since this period is often not register a positive labor market developments (in fact last year the unemployment figures were increased).

This year we have managed to break that trend, also achieving generate new jobs in 4 of the 5 sectors in which these lists are distributed.

Thus, employment is generated in agriculture (44), industry (4), construction (18) and services (16).

This figure has given us June is particularly positive, as Lorca, contrary to what usually happens in coastal towns during the summer months, do not benefit from "Summer factor" to create jobs.

Lali Ibarra said that the month of June ends with the best figure in the lists of unemployed for 30 months (January 2012) does, confirming that the labor market recovery is evolving in a positive direction.

In annual figures, it should be emphasized that in this range there has been a decrease of 565 people on the unemployment rolls.

So far this year indicate that the half-yearly figures were generated 235 new jobs, a fact to keep in mind given the difficult situation we are going through.

In the time of 2014 have reduced the unemployment rolls in 4 months.

Councilmember Employment said that this is very good news that we should serve all stakeholders as an encouragement to continue working together.

Now is the time to continue to develop more strongly if it fits our task for Lorca who are still unemployed.

It is the responsibility of everyone, not just the City will work to improve the picture.

The results, after a period as hard as we are leaving behind, are already being seen.

We must continue on this line.
