Lorca young people between 13 and 30 years have already been selected for the month of July to participate in similar activities in Austria, Latvia and Berlin, to be held in August and September.
Youth Councillor of the City of Lorca, Agustin Llamas, reported that the municipal area along with the association Cazalla Intercultural offering two youth participate in exchanges that take place in Bulgaria and Romania within the Erasmus program of the European Commission +.
Llamas explained that until Monday August 11 interested can register at the office of Campus Universitario de Lorca in "Say no to drugs!" Project, which will run from 20 to 30 September in the Romanian town of Turceni and which will focus on healthy lifestyle and drug use among young people from different countries, promoting the prevention and the fight against drug abuse.
This seven young people between 18 and 30 will take part in several workshops to promote healthy activities in their own communities.
The mayor also explained that until Friday 8 August, 10 young people between 15 and 18 and a monitor 22 to 30 years can join the international exchange "Welcome your heroes, respect your foes", which will focus on sport equality, youth participation and the creation of a society without aggression and violence.
The objective of this project is to combat violence, discrimination, racism and xenophobia through sport (football, volleyball and basketball), workshops and presentations.
These two exchanges are in addition to one already being held in Vienna from 6 to 15 August, and two to be held in Latvia, from 4 to 13 September, and Berlin, 27 September to 1 October.
These three international exchanges involving 18 young Lorca.
