Open to mid-September deadline for three free courses gardening, cleaning and tourist promotion for unemployed 45 (27/08/2014)

These courses are co-financed by the Regional Employment and Training and the City of Lorca, while September 1 will start the administrative management of the Labor Relations Office, Occupational Hazards and basic English.

The Department of Employment Council of Lorca, Eulalia Ibarra has reported that up to mid-September remains open enrollment period for three free courses for a total of 45 unemployed, which are financed by the Regional Employment Service and the Consistory Lorca .

Ibarra explained that two of these courses with a professional certificate of level 1 is achieved, one of them being the ancillary activities in nurseries, gardens and garden centers, which is aimed at under-30s, and other cleaning surfaces and furnishings in buildings and premises.

In both cases a maximum of15 seats are offered and no previous studies are required, the first 330 hours and the second 230, both with a commitment to 80 hours of non-work internships.

Both courses will be held from October 1 at the Municipal Center for Training and Enterprise of the turret in the morning.

Meanwhile the course of local tourism promotion and visitor information (bilingual English) allow obtaining a Certificate of Competence Level 3, so students must have Baccalaureate or Professional Certificate Level 3 or Level 2 Professional Certificate of same family and professional area or entrance examination to college for over 25 years and / or 45 years.

Students must also have a minimum English proficiency corresponding to level B1 establishing the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

The above level will be credited through formal qualifications or through SERCI by Supervised Professional Assessment.

This course involves 570 hours of training with a commitment of 120 hours of non-work internships.

The mayor said these free training programs in addition to four others from September 1 shall commence on Administrative Management of Industrial Relations Office, Occupational Hazards and basic English and still have some vacancy and are part of the training program for unemployed women funded by the City Council and the Ministry of Social Services within Lorca + Plan.
