The Council of Women and Local Development Lorca Opens New Center Child Care Cazalla (07/10/2014)

The new facilities have 598,5m2 to accommodate children with dining area and a flexible schedule from 6:30 to 21:00 pm to facilitate the reconciliation of work and family life.

The Council of Women and Local Development Council of Lorca, Eulalia Ibarra, inaugurated this morning the Center for Child Care deputation of Cazalla, which has a capacity for 122 children divided into morning and afternoon shifts of 61 children in each, with opening hours from 6:30 to 21:00, especially aimed at facilitating the reconciliation of work and family life of the parishes of the orchard.

Ibarra explained that "this center will provide childcare for children aged 0-3 years, and toy library for those who are between 3 and 10 years, and a dining room serving up to 10 years, along with a wide variety of complementary activities as English, encourage reading, crafts, multisport, summer school, no school days, school support, children's yoga, infant massage, ... and even a morning classroom and pick up service to take students from school Virgen de las Huertas " .

The mayor stated that "the construction of this facility, which is primarily to children under 3 years, was made possible by a grant from the Autonomous Community of 400,000 euros, and aims to provide a quality service and the care of children, encouraging global development in the physical, social and educational fields of children and to facilitate the reconciliation of work and family life, allowing full integration of parents to work. "

Furthermore, Eulalia Ibarra stated that "with the launch of this center jobs are created for faculty, the cooking and cleaning, as the center has storage, kitchen and dining area, plus four classrooms, together, toilets, office address and a central courtyard. "

This new facility is located next to the clubhouse, the health center and playground Cazalla and has parking.

This new municipal building is managed by the award scheme, following the example of those launched since 2007 such as the Municipal Nursery School Sutullena and Conciliation Center of Family Life La Hoya, and the recent opening of the Point Care for Children in La Paca.
