120 musicians will play'Carmina Burana' Saturday 18 at the Teatro Guerra (09/10/2014)

The Coral Bartolomé Pérez Casas Lorca perform along with the Orfeo D'Alaro, the Boys Choir of Lorca, components choirs Hims Mola de Molina de Segura and Orfheus of Murcia, Conservatory students Canto Narciso Yepes, Madrid soprano Carmen Iglesias , Pedro Pérez countertenor and baritone Venezuelan Jorge Paez.

The Councillor for Culture of the City of Lorca, Sandra Martinez, director of the Coral Bartolomé Pérez Casas, Antonio Manzanera, and the president of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, Magdalena Lopez, presented this morning choral symphony concert to be held on Saturday 18 starting at 21:00 pm in the Teatro Guerra in favor of this group.

Martinez explained that "120 musicians will play in this performance sponsored by the Coral Bartolomé Pérez Casas spectacular work with the texts of the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, but written in the twentieth century 'Carmina Burana' (Cantos Profane) by German composer Carl Orff, which is divided into 25 movements and lasts about 65 minutes. "

This charity event will feature a single entry from 10 euros and will serve to help the Spanish Association Against Cancer Lorca.

This choral piece will be performed by the Coral Bartolomé Pérez Casas Lorca, acting together with the Orfeo D'Alaro, the Boys Choir of Lorca, formed by students of the School of Music and the Conservatory Narciso Yepes and children of the components the Coral Perez Casas, components choirs Hims Mola de Molina de Segura and Orfheus of Murcia, Conservatory students Canto Narciso Yepes, percussion group, pianists Arturo Ruiz and Vincent Prieto and as soloists, soprano Carmen Iglesias Madrid , Pedro Pérez countertenor and baritone Venezuelan Jorge Paez, all under the direction of Antonio Manzanera.

The tickets can be purchased at the Theatre War itself, the seat of the AECC Narciso Yepes on the street, at the Municipal School of Music, the Rayma Jewelry (opposite the Iglesia del Carmen) and Silver Silverware Admiral Aguilar Street .

The D'Alvaró Choir, will be hosted in Lorca from Wednesday 15 to Sunday 19, intending to visit our city and the main monuments.

They will be accompanied by the mayor of this Majorcan town, Juan Pons Simonet.

The expedition, 50 people, will be received in official audience with the Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar on Friday 18 October.
