The "la Caixa" Welfare Projects presents, in collaboration with the City of Lorca, the show the Trojan War for schoolchildren from third grade to second ESO.

The show combines storytelling, puppetry and visual animation to explain a universal story.

The myth of the Trojan War helps to reflect on the reality of the world and the nature of men.

School shows organized by the Social "la Caixa" Welfare Projects are designed to introduce young audiences to the world of art.

The War Lorca Theatre hosts a series of four performances on 21 and 22 October, with two daily at 9.30 and 11.15 functions.

It is expected more than 1,800 students attend four scheduled performances.

The show that "la Caixa" and the City of Lorca Social Work presented, The Trojan War, takes us back to thousands of years ago in a remote part of the Mediterranean, when the two most powerful nations on Earth were faced in a terrible conflict: the Trojan War.

Paris and Helen, Agamemnon and Priam, Hector and Achilles, Ulysses ... The love, power, ambition, glory, honor ... Under the direction of Jordi Colominas, the show combines storytelling, puppetry and animation audiovisual to summarize this universal story.

This activity takes place in the framework of eduCaixa, a platform that enhances the commitment of "la Caixa" to education, teachers, students and their families.

To address the educational challenge of converting the representation of an experience as rewarding as possible for students, "la Caixa" Welfare Projects offers educational materials about proposals for multidisciplinary work in the classroom before and after the performance, so motivate a critical representation with well-defined educational content.
