The regional government has approved a grant from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities, amounting to 271,928 euros, a community building owners 'Jose Pallares' to carry out the restoration of the House Colonel Potousse that was damaged in the earthquakes in 2011 in Lorca.

The House of Aragón is located in the historic center of Lorca, which was declared a Historic-Artistic and in 1985 acquired the status of Cultural Interest in the Historical category.

This property is included in the Master Plan for the recovery of cultural heritage of Lorca, approved by the Council of Ministers of October 28, 2011.
