WWF and Postal created with 3,000 seedlings a forest of 6 hectares in Lorca with the assistance of the City (18/02/2015)

WWF and presented in Lorca Post a new result of their collaboration: a forest of 6 hectares and 3,000 seedlings of oak, Kermes oak, Aleppo pines and olive trees that workers themselves of the postal company helped plant in a semiarid region of Murcia town.

More than 3,000 seedlings of native species reinforce six acres of woodland by Madroños and Alhagüeces in the town of Lorca (Murcia).

More than 25,000 seedlings also distributed in Lorca, in the juniper Alto Tajo, in the forests of oaks in Lugo and Pontevedra, in native oaks in Tembleque (Toledo), in a pasture in Valencia de Alcántara (Cáceres) and a riparian forest in Southeast Park (Madrid).

These are added to areas reforested in the other eight Post forests located in different locations on the Peninsula, Canary and Balearic Islands before 2010.
