The City Council clarifies that those affected by floods in Lorca receive the same treatment as any other natural disaster (17/03/2015)

Agriculture Councilman City of Lorca, Angel Mecca, has clarified that the damage caused by flooding in Zaragoza this year, in 2012 in Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras, as well as all natural disasters occurred in our country in the last decade, are treated with the same Decree Law, receiving his hit exactly identical benefits.

In fact it is a decree that is made based on the RD 307, March 18, 2005, prepared by the PSOE government of Rodriguez Zapatero.

It is contradictory that the PSOE complain of a decree drafted themselves.

Moreover, we must remember that in the case of floods in our region, we get that the advantages identified by Royal Decree be extended including tax benefits (exemption from IBI), reduction of fiscal modules in almost 90%, and bonuses irrigation water transfer, among others.

Precisely the RD that now prevails in Zaragoza also includes these benefits in imitation of what we got for our city in 2012.

Angel Mecca, after the unfortunate criticisms made this morning by the local PSOE, lamented that the party has fallen so low in the exercise of political action, trying to pass fallacies truths.

Who are they kidding with this show?

This attempt to manipulate the flood victims with lies is ruin.

I sincerely believe that they have chosen a very unfortunate electoral strategy.

Is unqualified to try to confront the victims together.

It is completely false that there are differences between the treatment to be given to each other.
